Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pedál, operated by DUOLIKE AS ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Pedál, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Pedál is a desktop application for real-time audio collaboration between musicians. It enables streaming audio, voice communication, screen sharing, and recording between connected users.

Account and Registration

Using Pedál requires an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Pedál to:

• Transmit any unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application;
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with our servers or infrastructure;
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

Intellectual Property

Pedál and its software, branding, and technology are owned by us and protected by applicable law. You retain all rights to the audio and content you create using the Service. We claim no ownership over your recordings or sessions.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suited to your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pedál shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase date. To request a refund, contact us at the email below. Refund requests made after 30 days will not be eligible. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app or via the link in your subscription confirmation email. Cancelling stops future charges.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or if continued access would be harmful to us or other users.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
